Jacob Cox 
Jacob was born in 1737 in London Grove,Chester Co. PA. Jacob's father was John II Cox and his mother was Mary Harlan. His paternal grandparents were John I Cox and Rachel Embree Carr. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Solomon, Dinah, Rebecca and Mary. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Benjamin, William, Samuel, John, Sarah, Amy Naomi, Naomi, Ruth and Hannah B..General Notes
