Dinah was born on April 27th, 1737 in ,Adams,PA. Dinah's father was John II Cox and her mother was Mary Harlan. Her paternal grandparents were John I Cox and Rachel Embree Carr. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Jacob, Solomon, Rebecca and Mary. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Benjamin, William, Samuel, John, Sarah, Amy Naomi, Naomi, Ruth and Hannah B.. She died at the age of 82 on November 2nd, 1819.General Notes
