William Cox 
William was born in 1727 in London Grove,Chester,PA.1 William's father was John II Cox and his mother was Hannah Jenkins. His paternal grandparents were John I Cox and Rachel Embree Carr. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, Samuel, John, Sarah, Amy Naomi, Naomi, Ruth and Hannah B.. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas, Jacob, Solomon, Dinah, Rebecca and Mary. He died at the age of 67 on January 7th, 1794 in York Co. Pennsylvania.2 General Notes
