Amy "Naomi" was born on May 4th, 1758 in Orange Co. North Carolina.1 Amy "Naomi"'s father was Benjamin Cox and her mother was Martha Garretson. Her paternal grandparents were John II Cox and Hannah Jenkins; her maternal grandparents were Casparius Garretson and Ann Cox. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Benjamin , Jr., Simon, John, Thomas, Joseph, William, Jeremiah and Ruth. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 86 on November 4th, 1844 in Of Fairfield,Indiana.General Notes
