William (Bill) Lumsden Smith Swanson

William, known as Bill, was born on March 16th, 1897 in Edinburgh.¹²

Bill's father was John Swanson and his mother was Mary Thomson. His maternal grandparents were Andrew Thomson and Helen Henderson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Andrew, James, Helen and Mary. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 79 on June 11th, 1976 in El Dorado. He was buried on June 15th, 1976 in Santa Barbera.³³
