Helen Cunningham

Helen was born on April 6th, 1793 in Kirkliston and her baptism took place there on April 14th, 1793.¹²

Helen's father was James Cunningham and her mother was Elisabeth Walker. Her paternal grandparents were John Cunningham and Hellen Aitken; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Walker and Janet Broun. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, John, James, Archibald, Alexander, Janet and Elisabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died due to a medical problem, Dropsy, duration 5 months, at the age of 70 on July 16th, 1863 in Clapperton Hall.³
