Elspeth Bell

Elspeth was born on April 8th, 1666 in Abercorn and her baptism took place there on April 8th, 1666.¹   Elspeth's father was John Bell and her mother was Elspeth Ramsay.  Her paternal grandparents were John Bell and Margrat Glen. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named James, John, John, William, Thomas, Bartlay, Peter, Margaret, Jennet, Helen and Margaret.  She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 82 in 1748 in Abercorn.¹
