Margaret Bell

Margaret was born in January 1673 in Abercorn and her baptism took place there on January 10th, 1673.¹   Margaret's father was John Bell and her mother was Elspeth Ramsay.  Her paternal grandparents were John Bell and Margrat Glen. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named James, John, John, William, Thomas, Bartlay, Peter, Margaret, Jennet, Elspeth and Helen.  She was the second youngest of the twelve children.
