Peter Bell

Peter was born in January 1674 in Abercorn and his baptism took place there on January 24th, 1674.¹   Peter's father was John Bell and his mother was Elspeth Ramsay.  His paternal grandparents were John Bell and Margrat Glen. He had six brothers and five sisters, named James, John, John, William, Thomas, Bartlay, Margaret, Jennet, Elspeth, Helen and Margaret.  He was the youngest of the twelve children.
