Archibald Thomson

Archibald was born on February 1st, 1746 in Uphall and his baptism took place there on February 1st, 1746.¹

- Died aged 80, according to gravestone, so born between 12-Aug-1744 and 11-Aug-1745.

Archibald's father was James Thomson and his mother was Isabell Robertson. His paternal grandparents were James Thomson and Margaret Aitken. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James, Moruis, Elisabeth, Mary and Isobell. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 79 on August 11th, 1825 in Clapperton Hall. He was buried in Uphall.²²
