Clapperton Hall fire, 2

On Saturday fe'ennight a fire broke out in the office of Archibald Thomson, of Clapperton-hall, near Mid Calder, Scotland which entirely consumed the farm, together with the furniture in the house, two horses, and three cows; also a part of the stacks in the barn-yard. Mrs. Hamilton was nearly burnt to death.
