Thelma Elizabeth Allen 
Thelma Elizabeth was born on December 2nd, 1910 in Indian Gap,Texas/ Hamilton Co. Texas. Thelma Elizabeth's father was Martin Travis Allen and her mother was Lillian Janice Giles. Her paternal grandparents were William Barrett Travis Allen and Mary Elizabeth Snider; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Milton Giles and Margaret Clementine McCowen. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Spurgeon, Sheldon C., Floy, Doris Eugenia and Janice Waldene. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 85 on December 30th, 1995 in Temple,Texas. She was buried on January 2nd, 1996 in Cremated.1 General Notes
Because of a rift between herself and her children. She ask her sister Doris to take care of her. She ask that she be creamated and that her ashes be spread at the bottom of the hill at Lake Belton from where she had lived for many years. She wa divorced from Chester (TWICE) . Her children did not attend the service or try to repair the rift between themselves or their Mother. Thelma was always very good to her sister and neices Lillie and Ann. She was one of Lillies favorite Aunts.
