Will of Nathaniel Vice of Campbell Co., Kentucky.
In the name of God Amen. I Nathaniel Vice of Campbell County and state of Kentucky being of sound mind and memory do make ordain and constitute this my last will and testament in maner(sic) and form following to wit.
First I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Jemmemah Vice all of my estate both real and personal during her life or widowhaood without waist.
Second after my decease and my wife Jemmemah, the whole of my estate of every demomination I wish to be equally divided between my ten children John, Nathaniel, Anna Allen , Elizabeth, Elijah, Sarah, Nathaniel ( name listed Twice) , Mary Uriah and George Vice.
Third and lastly I do nomenate my trusty7 friends Nathaniel Vice Junr, George Vice and Coonrad Caster each of this County to be my executors is in thy or surety of this my last will and testament. In testimony where of I do hereby set my hnd and affix my seal this 20th day of August 1803 in the presence of Squire Grant. There was anther pater wrapper that state of Campbell september court 1802. This will was presented in court proved by the oath of Squire Grant a subscribing witness there to and ordered to be recorded and is recorded Will Book A folio 70.
Another paper had the follojwing written on it. The estate of Nathanile Vise Cecd. In acpt with George Vise and Nathaniel Vise Jr.
To repaireing plantation 500 rails $6.25
To clearing one and an half acres $6.00
To 150 clalpboards and repairing house $4.00
to two pair drawbars $2.00

Agreeable to an order of the Campbell County Court of September 1816 we the Commissioners have proceeded to settle and calcuate the amount of the accounts advanced by the executors of Nathaniel Vise Decd which stands on above give unto our hands this 19th day of Sept 1817. In alexandria, Kentucky courthouse ther was a paper envelope with the title of iInventory and Appraisement of the estate of N. Vice decd Ordered to be recorded Sept. Court 1818- Recorder. Inside where thePaper stating the following.
An inventory of cetain goods and chattel sold by Nathl Vice as Exr of Nathl Vice decd which came to his hand after the death of the widow & Legatee of the decedant N. Vice.
1 feather bed and furniture $20.00, I iron kettle $3.00, 1 Bell $.75, 1 kettle $.25, 1 dish $.50, 1 corner Cupboard $.50, 1 horse $1.50 total $27.00
Septemver 28, 1818 ( signed by Nathaniel Vice Exe) Campbell county September Court 1818. The fore going inventory of the estate of Nathaniel Vise decdwas produced in court and ordered to be recorded and the same is thereupon truly recorded in may office in Will Book A folio 289. Att James Taylor Ck
