Martin Travis Allen 
Martin Travis was born on June 8th, 1885 in Hutto,Williamson Co.,Texas.1 Martin Travis' father was William Barrett Travis Allen and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Snider. His paternal grandparents were James Bud Allen and Nancy McNutt; his maternal grandparents were John Snider and Rachel Smalley. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Bud, Travis Bud, Ida, Martha Barbara, Rachel, Rosalie, Mary Catherine and Prudie. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 82 on January 17th, 1968 in Temple,Bell Co.,Texas.2 General Notes
Instructions how to find the graveyard . TX 190/36 west out of Temple. continue on west 36. take the first left after fm 2305 . This will still be hwy. 36. Continue on the road past the Airport. The cemetery is call Bellwood Memorial. and it is on the left near the top of a hill. A Texas National Guard Building is across the road . the Grave is one the left side of the cementer y. Will try to get better site location at a later date.
