William HANKINS 
William was born on November 28th, 1788 in VA. William's father was Joseph Hankins and his mother was Nancy Cain. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Absolem, John, Moses, Joseph, Aaron, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Edith Ann. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 75 on October 21st, 1864 in Jefferson,IN.
‌William and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on January 15th, 1811 in Jefferson,IN. They had six sons and three daughters, named Joseph, James, William, John C., Moses, Aaron, Burillah, Martha Ann and Sarah Ann.

Sarah Ann was born on December 3rd, 1830. She died at the age of 78 on March 30th, 1909.
