Aaron HANKINS

Aaron was born about 1826.  Aaron's father was William HANKINS and his mother was Elizabeth McCARTY.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Hankins and Nancy Cain. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, James, William, John C., Moses, Burillah, Martha Ann and Sarah Ann.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.

‌Aaron and Elizabeth Mary Ellen were married in a religious ceremony on March 25th, 1852 in Jefferson,IN.  They had four sons and five daughters, named William, Zachariah, Aaron R., Luther, Nancy, Sarah, Alice, Alzora and Carrie.
