Martha Ann HANKINS 
Martha Ann was born about 1821. Martha Ann's father was William HANKINS and her mother was Elizabeth McCARTY. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Hankins and Nancy Cain. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, James, William, John C., Moses, Aaron, Burillah and Sarah Ann. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
‌Martha Ann and Jacob were married in a religious ceremony on November 24th, 1836. They had three sons and two daughters, named John W., Allen, Joseph A., Sarah E. and Melissa.
