Burillah HANKINS

Burillah was born about 1815.  Burillah's father was William HANKINS and her mother was Elizabeth McCARTY.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Hankins and Nancy Cain. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, James, William, John C., Moses, Aaron, Martha Ann and Sarah Ann.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died before 1865.

‌Burillah and Benjamin were married in a religious ceremony on April 15th, 1830 in Jefferson,IN.  They had two sons named William and Joseph.
