Moses HANKINS

Moses was born about 1823.  Moses' father was William HANKINS and his mother was Elizabeth McCARTY.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Hankins and Nancy Cain. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, James, William, John C., Aaron, Burillah, Martha Ann and Sarah Ann.  He was the third youngest of the nine children.

‌Moses and America were married in a religious ceremony on February 21st, 1851 in Jefferson,IN.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Robert, Cyrus, Elizabeth and Mary.
