Rebecca HANKINS

Rebecca was born about 1797 in KY.  Rebecca's father was Joseph Hankins and her mother was Nancy Cain. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Absolem, John, Moses, Joseph, Aaron, Elizabeth and Edith Ann.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  She died in April 1881 in Shelby Township,Jefferson,IN.

‌Rebecca and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on March 4th, 1822 in Jefferson,IN.  They had two sons and four daughters, named Christian, Joseph, Elizabeth, Julia Ann, Mary and Nellie.
