John HANKINS

John was born in 1803.  John's father was Joseph Hankins and his mother was Nancy Cain. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Absolem, Moses, Joseph, Aaron, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Edith Ann.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 78 on April 20th, 1881 in Bee Camp,Jefferson,IN.

‌John and Patsy were married in a religious ceremony on January 1st, 1824 in Jefferson,IN.  They had a son and two daughters, named Aaron, Mary and Sarah.
