Rachel Viola was born on December 21st, 1802. Rachel Viola's father was David Gwin and her mother was Violet Crawford. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Gwin and Jane Or Jean Kinkead. She had two brothers and four sisters, named David Sitlington, Samuel R, Isabella, Margaret, Susan Henderson and Salley. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John, James, Robert Moses, John, Nancy, Mary Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Jane and Sarah. She died at the age of 44 on February 15th, 1847 in Clover Creek,,VA.-
