William Alexander McClung 
William Alexander was born in 1826. William Alexander's father was William McClung and his mother was Rachel Viola Gwin. His paternal grandparents were John McClung and Sarah McCutcheon; his maternal grandparents were David Gwin and Violet Crawford. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named John Henderson, David Gwin, Andrew Crawford, Silas Brown, Robert T., Samuel A., Lewis Martin, Sarah Susan, Frances Violet, Mary Margaret and Susan Agnes. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 21 in 1847.General Notes
