In 1841, Job (a woollen Weaver) and Lucy (both 35) are living at Park Gate, Berry Brow, Almondbury with George (15), Susannah (15), Ruth (13) and Martha (9).

In 1851, Job & Lucy (47 & 48) are still at Park Gate with Ruth and Martha (22 & 19). Emma Stocks (grandaughter, 1 yr) is probably Ruth's daughter.  William, Susana and Emma Horsfall are neighbours.

In 1871, Living in Berry Brow, Almondbury with wife Lucy and grandson George Brook.

According to a letter to his nephew Joseph, Job cared for Benjamin and Sarah in their final years.

in 1841, John (25), Mary (30) and family were at Park Gate (by Berry Brow), Almondbury.  Job & Lucy Stocks were neighbours.

In 1851, John (39), and Mary (44) are at Berry Brow.

in 1881, John and Mary were at DeadmanStone Lane, Berry Brow. 1807 - 1886 Mary Raynor 79 79 Mary Ann Hoyle married John Hirst on 13 Aug 1827.  Is this the same Mary Ann Hoyle who married John Dyson 5 years later?  No, because John and Mary Ann Hirst lived through the 1851 and 1861 census.  Also, there's a better match with Mary Raynor, who was widowed and re-married John after Ellen was born and baptised (although shown as spinster on second marriage). 1830 - >1901 Ellen Woodhead 71 71 Ellen is not a popular name in this era.  There are no baptism for Ellen, dau of John Dyson, so she may have been Mary's daughter before they maried.  There is only one Ellen baptised at Meltham:  Ellen Woodhead (18 Apr 1830), and her mother was a Mary (and father Joshua).  There are no other baptisms for this couple here, so it is quite likely this is Ellen.
