Agnes Eddowes

Agnes was born in June 1864 in Birkenhead and her baptism took place there on April 17th, 1864.¹²

Agnes' father was William Eddowes and her mother was Elizabeth Shortreid. Her paternal grandparents were John Eddowes and Mary Whitfield. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, William, John, Jessie, Esther, Jennet and Lillian. She was the oldest of the eight children.
