William Prince

William was born in 1898 in Birkenhead.¹ William's father was Thomas Prince and his mother was Esther Eddowes. His maternal grandparents were William Eddowes and Elizabeth Shortreid. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, Esther and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the five children.
