Ruth Cairns

Ruth was born in 1909 in Birkenhead.¹   Ruth's father was William Thomas Cairns and her mother was Annie Smith. She had three brothers and a sister, named Albert, George, Alexander and Lily.  She was the oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Francis, Joseph, Elizabeth and Mary.
