Eliza was born in December 1891 in Bolton.¹

Eliza's father was David Pendlebury and her mother was Ruth Price. Her paternal grandparents were James Pendlebury and Eliza Mather. She had six brothers and six sisters, named James, Ernest, David, Albert, Walter, Herbert, Mary, Ruth, Elsie, Ruth, Ida and Maud. She died at the age of 37 in May 1929 in Bolton. Her burial was on May 16th, 1929 in Lancashire.²³
