Ann Howarth. Her paternal grandparents were
John Mather and
Ellen Blinstone; her maternal grandparents were
Edmund Howarth and
Anne. She had four brothers and four sisters, named

Alice. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 80 in May 1853 in

The Nancy Mather that married Samuel Astley in 1814 was born about 1792 (so aged 22 about when married) and died Jan 1819, aged 27. This is clearly another Nancy Mather.
This Nancy probably married John Horrocks, a weaver 6 Jan 1802.
In 1841, Nancy Horrocks (not Knowles) was still alive, aged 70, with Mary (34), Margaret (27), Charles (24). Then is listed James (34) with Betty (10), Adam (6), and Thomas (1). They are living in Dean Street, L.B.
Nancy was still alive in 1851, born Walmsley, now aged 83
In 1857, Nancy Horrocks (another) was sentanced for "Murder".
