13 July 1808, Margaret married Thomas Heaton (or maybe not as she would have been 16). Instead it may have been another Margaret Mather, daughter of Hannah Liptrot b.1788 who married Thomas, but this Margaret was from Adlington and the 1851 census confirms her age.
In 1841, Thomas and Margaret Heaton (both 50) were at Adlington and had John (25), Mary (15), Thomas (15), and Isaac (10), as well as Jane Heaton (aged 4, so probably a g-daughter)
In 1851, Thomas and Margaret (63 & 61) were at nightingale Road, Adlington with Mary (26), Isaac (19) and Jane (16)
