Betty Mather

Betty was born in 1799 in Adlington and her baptism took place on January 12th, 1800 in Rivington.¹²

Betty's father was Edward (Nedde) Mather and her mother was Mary Hough. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and <unknown>. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Nathan, John, Alice, Mary, Margaret, John, Agnes and Nancy. She died at the age of 46 on June 5th, 1845 in Horwich. Her burial was on June 9th, 1845 in Rivington.³⁴
