Maria Clarkson

Maria was born in September 1858 in Little Bolton.¹

Maria's father was William Clarkson and her mother was Sarah Collings. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Clarkson and Mary Rainford; her maternal grandparents were William Collings and Maria Mather. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Richard, Thomas, Adam, Sarah and Mary. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died due to a childhood disease at the age of 2 in December 1860 in Bolton.²
