Sarah Collings

Sarah was born in 1833 in Bolton and her baptism took place on April 7th, 1833 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Sarah's father was William Collings and her mother was Maria Mather. Her maternal grandparents were James Mather and Happy Lomax. She had two brothers and three sisters, named James, Joseph, Mary, Maria and Esther. She was the fourth oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 59 in February 1892 in Blackburn. Her burial was on February 5th, 1892.³⁴
