George Brereton

George was born on May 27th, 1900 in Birkenhead and his baptism took place on August 15th, 1900 at St. Peter (Rock Ferry).¹²

Birth Notes

George's father was Thomas Brereton and his mother was Ellen Goodman Roberts. His paternal grandparents were George Brereton and Jane Hopley; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Goodman Roberts and Ellenor Roberts. He had five sisters named Jessie, Ann, Theresa, Ellen and Jane. He was the youngest of the six children. He had three half-brothers named William, William and Theophilus. He died at the age of 66 in 1966 in Bangor.³
