Mary Barrow

Mary was born in 1830 in Bolton.¹   Mary's father was George Barrow and her mother was Nancy Greenhalgh. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named John, Richard, James, George, Thomas, Margaret, Betty, Eliza, Nancy, Nancy, Celine, Harriet and Ellen.  She was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. She had a half-brother named Edwin.
