Rachel Ann Malphrus

Rachel Ann was born about 1835 in St. Lukes Parish, Beaufort Co., SC.¹   Rachel Ann's father was William Edward Malphrus and her mother was Sarah. She had five brothers and a sister, named John Isaac, William T., Isham E., James Edward, William Allen and Nancy.  She was the third youngest of the seven children. She had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Seaborn Nathaniel, John Brooker, Joseph Joshua, Ulysses Oliver, Rubin Jacob, Cornelius, Mary Rebecca, Sarah and Emily Jane.¹
