John Isaac Malphrus

John Isaac was born about 1830 in St. Lukes Parish, Beaufort Co., SC.¹   John Isaac's father was William Edward Malphrus and his mother was Sarah. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William T., Isham E., James Edward, William Allen, Nancy and Rachel Ann.  He was the oldest of the seven children. He had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Seaborn Nathaniel, John Brooker, Joseph Joshua, Ulysses Oliver, Rubin Jacob, Cornelius, Mary Rebecca, Sarah and Emily Jane.  He died on February 20th, 1865 in Richmond, VA.¹
