Thurman Ernest Straley

Thurman Ernest was born on October 1st, 1911 in Sterling City, Texas.¹ Thurman Ernest's father was Thomas Jefferson Straley and his mother was Lucy Allen Cope. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Leland Straley and Sarah Rebecca Clark. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Harry Artemis, Thomas Jefferson, Charles Spurgeon, George Leland, John Cope, Sadie Allen, Alice, Myrtle Willie, Lucy Ophelia, Reba and Thelma Ethel. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at just 7 days old on October 8th, 1911 in Sterling City, Texas.¹
