Alice Straley

Alice was born in 1896 in Adamsville, Lampasas Co, Texas.¹ Alice's father was Thomas Jefferson Straley and her mother was Lucy Allen Cope. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Leland Straley and Sarah Rebecca Clark. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Harry Artemis, Thomas Jefferson, Charles Spurgeon, George Leland, John Cope, Thurman Ernest, Sadie Allen, Myrtle Willie, Lucy Ophelia, Reba and Thelma Ethel. She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. She died in 1896 in Adamsville, Lampasas Co, Texas.¹
