Sadie Allen Straley

Sadie Allen was born in September 1888 in Adamsville, Lampasas Co, Texas.¹ Sadie Allen's father was Thomas Jefferson Straley and her mother was Lucy Allen Cope. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Leland Straley and Sarah Rebecca Clark. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Harry Artemis, Thomas Jefferson, Charles Spurgeon, George Leland, John Cope, Thurman Ernest, Alice, Myrtle Willie, Lucy Ophelia, Reba and Thelma Ethel. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 38 in 1926 in El Paso, Texas.¹
