Thelma Ethel Straley

Thelma Ethel was born on March 21st, 1906 in Sterling City, Texas.¹ Thelma Ethel's father was Thomas Jefferson Straley and her mother was Lucy Allen Cope. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Leland Straley and Sarah Rebecca Clark. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Harry Artemis, Thomas Jefferson, Charles Spurgeon, George Leland, John Cope, Thurman Ernest, Sadie Allen, Alice, Myrtle Willie, Lucy Ophelia and Reba. She was the third youngest of the twelve children. She died at 3 months old on July 1st, 1906 in Sterling City, Texas.¹
