Mathilde Queen was born in ,London, Middlesex, England and her baptism took place on April 7th, 1141 in England - Lady of the English.1   Mathilde Queen's father was Henry I "Beauclerc" King of England and her mother was Matilda Atheling Princess Scotland.  Her paternal grandparents were William I The Conqueror' and Matilda of Flanders; her maternal grandparents were King Of Scotland Malcolm and Margaret Aetheling. She had a brother and a sister, named Robert and Elizabeth Princess Of. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, Henry, Rainald, Alice Aline* Princess of, Mabille Ou Richilde, daughter of King of, Maud Princess Of and Constance.  She died on September 10th, 1167 in Notre Dame, Rouen, Seine Maritime, France.  She was buried on September 10th, 1169 in Bec Abbey, Le Bec Hellouin, Eure, France.1 1
