Geoffrey V The Fair was born on August 24th, 1113 in Anjou, France and his baptism took place in France (aka Geoffrey the Young) (of plante genet).1   Geoffrey V The Fair's father was Foulques V le Jeune Anjou and his mother was Ermengarde of Maine.  His paternal grandparents were Fulk IV Count Of Anjou and Bertrade De Montfort; his maternal grandparents were Helias Count Of Maine and Matilde De Chateau Du Loire. He had a brother and a sister, named Amaury I Of Jerusalem and Sibilla.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 38 on September 7th, 1151 in Cheau-du-Loir, France.  He was buried on September 7th, 1151 in St. Julian's Church, Le Mans, Anjou, France.1 1
