Geoffrey Count was born about 1000 in Chateau Landon, Seine-et-Marne, France and his baptism took place in France (aka Ferole, Count of Gatinais).1   Geoffrey Count's father was Geoffrey I Grisgonelle Comté d' Anjou and his mother was Beatrix De Macon.  His paternal grandparents were Fulco II Count Of Anjou and Gerberga of Maine Vermandois; his maternal grandparents were Alberic Aubri De Macon and Ermentrude De Roucy. He had a brother named Liétaud Ier. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Fulco lll The Black Count of, Ermangarde, Gilbergue and Adélaïde.  He died on April 1st, 1046 in Anjou, France.1

‌Geoffrey Count and Ermengarde Countess Of were married in a religious ceremony in 1035 in France.1   They had three sons and a daughter, named Vicount Of Chateaudun, Ivo Plantagenet, Fulk IV Count Of and Hildegarde.
