Matilda Countess Of was born in 0878 in Mensleben, Saxony, Germany and her baptism took place in Saxony - Direct Desc. of Widukind (Mathilde).1   Matilda Countess Of's father was Theodoric Dietrich Count of Ringleheim and her mother was Ragnhildis Ludmilla of Ringleheim.  Her paternal grandparents were Count of Ringleheim Reginhart and Matilda Mathilda' Von Dreini; her maternal grandparents were Godefrid King of Haithabu & Rustringen and Matilda. She had a brother and two sisters, named Count Of Ringleheim, Frederunda Of and Amalrada.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had a half-brother named Sigfried Le Danois Count Of.  She died in Memleben Saxony.  She was buried in Quedlinburg.1 1
