Crinan was born in 0975 in Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland.1 Crinan's father was Duncan Mormaer of Atholl. His paternal grandfather was Thank Of Dule Duncan. He was an only child. He died at the age of 70 in 1045 in Dunkeld, Perthshire, Scotland.1 General Notes
