Hugh Capet of was born in 0941 in France and his baptism took place in France (Desc. of Charlemagne - Line X).1   Hugh Capet of's father was Hugh Magnus The Great of France and his mother was Hedwige Hartwige Princess Of The Germans.  His paternal grandparents were Robert I King Of France and Beatrice de Vermandois; his maternal grandparents were Henry I The Fowler Of The Holy Roman Empire and Matilda Countess Of Ringleheim. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Otto Eudes Duke Of, Henri I Duke Of, William I Count Of, Beatrix Princess Of and Emma Princess Of.  He died in Paris, Les Juifs, near Chartres.  He was buried in St. Denis, France.1 1

‌Hugh Capet of and Adelheid were married in a religious ceremony about 0969 in France.1   They had three sons and three daughters, named Robert II The, II, Guerinfrey, Gisele Alice, Adele Capet of and Adwige Avoise' Of.
