Margaret Stewart of was born on December 24th, 1424 in Perth,Perthshire,Scotland.  Margaret Stewart of's father was James I King Scotland King and her mother was Joan de Beaufort Queen of Scotland.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert III (Robert John STEWART) King Scotland and Annabella (of Stoball) Drummond; her maternal grandparents were John (1st Earl of Somerset) Beaufort and Margaret (of Kent) Holland. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, James II (the Fiery Face) King of, Isabella Elizabeth, Joan Janet, Mary, Annabella, Eleanor and Isabel (Princess). She had three half-brothers named John of Atholl, James (1st Earl of Buchan) and Andrew.  She died at the age of 20 on August 16th, 1445 in Chalons Sur Marne,Marne,France.  She was buried on November 14th, 1479 in St. Laon Abbey,Thouars,Deux-Sevres,France.
