Alice was born about 1350 in Arundel Castle,Sussex,England.1   Alice's father was Richard "Copped Hat" Fitzalan [EARL OF ARUNDEL and her mother was Eleanor Plantagenet [COUNTESS OF ARU.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund FitzAlan Earl of Arundel and Alice De Warren; her maternal grandparents were Henry (3rd Earl of Lancaster) Plantagenet and Maud De CHAWORTH. She had two brothers and a sister, named Richard Fitz Alan XI Earl of, John and Joan.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Sir Edmund, Edmund, Henry De Beaumont III Lord, Mary Fitz, Alice, Aline and Maud.  She died on March 17th, 1416 in Brockenhurst,Hampshire,England.2 


Alice's first family with Thomas II d'Holland Earl of Kent

‌Alice and Thomas II were married in a religious ceremony on April 10th, 1364 in Arundel Castle,Sussex,England.3   They had two sons and five daughters, named Thomas III, Edmund, Eleanor, Margaret (of Kent), Joan, Margaret and Elizabeth.
