James II (the Fiery Face) King of was born on October 16th, 1430 in Holyrood Palace.  James II (the Fiery Face) King of's father was James I King Scotland King and his mother was Joan de Beaufort Queen of Scotland.  His paternal grandparents were Robert III (Robert John STEWART) King Scotland and Annabella (of Stoball) Drummond; his maternal grandparents were John (1st Earl of Somerset) Beaufort and Margaret (of Kent) Holland. He had a brother and seven sisters, named Alexander, Margaret Stewart of, Isabella Elizabeth, Joan Janet, Mary, Annabella, Eleanor and Isabel (Princess). He had three half-brothers named John of Atholl, James (1st Earl of Buchan) and Andrew.  He died at the age of 29 on August 3rd, 1460 in siege of Roxburgh Castle.  He was buried in Holyrood House,Edinburgh,Mid-Lothian,Scotland.
